MY GAP YEAR 2007/8

All my injections are completed at last, the only one I can’t get is the third course of ‘Tick-born Encephalitis’ as I need it in done in six months time, and I don’t fancy getting it done in a Mongolian hospital. What does that mean? Well, it means i’m only partially immune to the disease. Still, with all these jabs I’ve had over the last few months I do feel like a superhero, immune to all the nasty things the world can throw at me, However if I was a super hero, I’m not sure I would be doing all this complaining about my arm being red and aching. It feels like a school bully has given me a succession of dead arms over and over again. Talking of bullies, I heard a few of the ones who plagued my secondary school are now serving time at her majesty pleasure. Good to know justice has finally been done for stealing my crisps and sellotape me to a lamp-post.

Anyway, I’m rambling again, let me get back on track. Today I phoned the company who is helping me finalize my Russia Visa see if I could come and collect it . The short answer is no, they have to wait another couple of weeks to issue the Russian VISA, these VISA’s are dragging on and on and I only have 4 weeks left in this country. If I don’t get them, I really don’t know what I’m going to do. I will have to make another plan of action. Oh dear, I have a feeling its going to be a busy few weeks!
